Cacao tea is chocolate tea made from cacao husks and nibs. Cacao husks are the outer shells of the cacao bean and cacao nibs are the inner fruit of a cacao.
Cacao tea can be prepared just like any tea. Brew it in hot water (90 degree celcius) for 5-10 minutes to develop a chocolatey aroma. If you can imagine enjoying the taste of a good quality piece of dark chocolate and at the same time experience the soothing warmth of a cup of tea; then you’ve got to get yourself some cacao tea. Tea brewed from different cacao origin will have its own unique flavour profile.
